I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, but was simply too busy to fit it in. Now that I’m on the cusp of a winter workload lull (maybe!), I have the time to study for my FAA Part 107 license to commercially pilot the GG drone.
Although the market is pretty saturated by drone technology, especially in my field, it will nevertheless be very practical to offer drone coverage as part of the GG business model. Plus, I have some ideas bouncing between my ears about how to incorporate drone data into my science palette.
I decided to go with pilotinstitute and I am already highly impressed with the site’s layout, thoroughness and clarity of the instructor, Greg Reverdiau, and price point. Heck, I messaged a course question to Greg and he answered me within the hour. Nice!
