I’ve known Eric Bartrand professionally since 2006. He was the first WDFW employee I met when I began working at WSDOT. He happens to live in my neighborhood so we bump into each other outside of work as well.
As of today, Eric is retired after serving 30+ years with WDFW as a Habitat Biologist out of the Yakima office. Like me, he has established a freelance consulting gig to a assist folks with a variety of environmental/ecological challenges.
Eric and I will collaborate on larger projects that require more than we can individually deliver. For example, in 2024 we are contracted to monitor bird protection measures for a large bridge painting project in the Tri-Cities area.
I wish Eric “Congrats!” in arriving at retirement and “Thumbs Up!” for his freelance future. I look forward to working with him.
